This course is an exploration of abstract painting in acrylic, oil, or watercolor paints, or oil or soft pastels. The class focuses on the formal principles of art that are vital to balanced compositions. You will expand your knowledge and use of those principles as you develop your personal style. Learn how to select your color palette, how, when and why to use mediums, and much more. The building is closed for Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve through New Year's Day*, Memorial Day and the last week in August through Labor Day.* There is no open studio when the building is closed. 

 

* Phone lines will be open Monday-Friday, excluding holidays, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. to take class registrations.
