Handmade Paper Workshop (Spring I via Zoom)
DESCRIPTION: Jump into the world of papermaking and learn how you can create handmade papers with the supplies around your household. During the class, we will learn about the origins of papermaking and what materials paper was first created with. Through demonstration, artists will learn how to create paper pulp and use that pulp to make their own handmade paper.

SUPPLIES TO HAVE ON HAND at home:
* variety of paper to turn into pulp: construction paper, printer paper, newsprint, paper towels, napkins, paper scraps, newspaper, magazine pages.
* access to water
* several towels to form paper on (The papermaking process creates a lot of water, so having extra towels around is good.)
* 2 large bowls or bins for making pulp.
* forks
