Instructor: Julie Humiston
Skill level: AB, I, AD

Are you so caught up in trying to make something that you've forgotten to nurture the sense of creativity that makes art-making possible? Enjoy what you're doing, but curious about how to expand your practice? Or has it been a while since your last creative endeavor, and you need to warm up before jumping back in? We'll do a number of creative exercises designed to enhance artistic thinking and esthetic problem-solving, using a journal that you can keep for inspiration and reference. Although these exercises will be a useful reference and may inspire future works, the emphasis will be on the creative experience rather than on creating finished pieces. See suggested materials list on the website.
