A52217 Pointed Pen Calligraphy, Tuesdays, 6:30 - 8:30 p.m.

Skill Level: ALL
Make your writing beautiful whether addressing cards or adding poetry to your paintings. In this class you will learn Copperplate script, a style of calligraphy that gets its unique look from a flexible, pointed pen nib that allows variation in thickness through pressure and release. Begin by learning the lovely traditional Copperplate letter forms and then push them into the 21st century by altering the letter shapes to make them stylized and current. Materials included.

Enrollment limited to 12 / Ages 16 and up
Classes scheduled every week on Tuesday starting 9/5/2017 and ending 10/24/2017 at 6:30PM
